1. Provide a sustainable pipeline of Aerospace Professionals that are the catalyst for fulfilling NSBE's mission.

2. Service the NSBE Aerospace pipeline through distinctive value-added technical programming and advocacy deemed critical to navigating the industry.

Strategy: Provide regular membership engagement over a 2-year development cycle that involves:

1. Technical Development through Conferences, Web-meetings, and mentoring/coaching.

2. Research to advance technology and enhance transferable skills within academic, industry, and government sectors.

3. Advocacy focusing on increasing awareness of public policy that impacts the development of the aerospace industry.

4. Outreach focusing on K-12 and collegiate engagement in the aerospace industry

Strategic Goal Execution:

1. Execute the Technical Development Goal and

a. Conferences

- Fall Regional Conferences (FRCs)

- Technical Professional Development Conferences (TPCs)

- Biennial Aerospace Systems Conference (ASC)

- Aerospace Technology Session (ATS)

b. Remote Educational Forums

- Tech Talks

2. Execute the Research Goal

- Re-balance research portfolio across aerospace industry (i.e. space, defense, aviation).

- Target of a minimum of 8 research projects that are fully chartered, industry relevant, and active.

- Collaboratively develop a model for model for business incubation within the context of aerospace research

3. Execute the Advocacy Goal

- Attend conferences that impact aerospace policy or legislation (i.e. Space Legislative Blitz, AIAA's Advocate for Aerospace on Capitol Hill).

- Support the Technical Development goal by providing the society to engage in policy discussions and education

4. Execute the Outreach Goal

- Establish senior design/capstone, or other independent study curriculum for faculty to facilitate. Target 3-5 capstone projects.

- Partner with NSBE chapters to provide technical, research, and advocacy opportunities. Target 3-5 chapters.
